Ragamuffins are a quirky pop-electro-indie quartet blending energetic guitars, shimmery synths and jaunty keyboards with infectious hooks and melodies and intelligent lyrics. The band have been plying their trade around the UK and further afield since 2008, performing main stage at Beatherder Festival (alongside Reverend & the Makers and The Whip), the Snowbombing Festival in Austria, Made in Europe Festival in Italy, MTV Liverpool Music Week, The International Pop Overthrow Festival at The Cavern, headlining Academy venues, as well as playing support slots to The Zutons, Doll & The Kicks and The Hussy’s amongst others. They recently performed live on BBC Radio Lancashire’s 'An intimate afternoon with...' and in the past have played sessions on BBC Radio Merseyside, BBC Greater Manchester Radio with Andy Crane, Salford City Radio and other smaller local stations as well as having tracks played by John Kennedy on Xfm. They have recorded a live video commissioned by and aired on MUTV, and have had tracks played numerous times at Anfield football stadium during half time.
