Toil Trees is the heart of Beat Herder and it’s where it all began many moons ago. There’s nothing quite like dancing in the woods, wandering along the street or having it large on a car, having a pint or discovering all the mini venues within the woods.
The Toil Trees were a magical enhancement of the Beat-Herder festival. A wooded area filled with an eye-catching stage, seating, mesmerising lights and lasers, a few secret bars and the Gay Paris disco venue (with a flashing dance floor) happened to be just one part of it. The wild west-themed ‘Street’ took on the other clearing in the woodland; glow sticks and mirror balls were drawn at dawn instead of pistols as party people raved on top of vintage cars at The Garage.Shanna Jones - Virtual Festivals
