A member of the Reaction Sound System, curating lineups and managing their stages at various festivals/events. She originally got into reggae at the age of 18 through an ex's dad who had an amazing record collection and used to play in Brixton when he was a youth. Around the same time she also got into sound system through free parties and sessions in Exeter where she grew up. From 2009-13 she regularly attended subdub but didn't get properly introduced to smaller sessions in Leeds until around 2013. By 2014/15 she started DJing herself as a fully paid up member of the crew and hasn't looked back since!
Long term resident selecta with Reaction (Bike Powered) Soundsystem, High Lassie regularly plays at pubdub in Leeds, other sessions and festivals (Eden Festival, Shambala and Northern Green Gathering amongst others). Expect a varied selection - dub & roots to steppas and dancehall, some specials and plenty of bangers
