A key figure at the helm of Midnight Riot, Phil has played a major role in shaping one of the world’s most revered disco labels. With hundreds of releases spanning vinyl and digital formats, Midnight Riot continues to set the standard in modern disco. In addition to his work behind the scenes, Phil is a renowned producer, releasing under aliases such as Jaegerossa, Platinum City, and Love Doves. His music has earned the support of industry giants like Dave Lee, Groove Armada, DJ Harvey, The Reflex, and Purple Disco Machine. Notable releases include Platinum City’s “Change,” which featured on the Glitterbox stream by Melvo Baptiste and Horse Meat Disco, and “Nothing But the Music,” which reached No. 1 on the Traxsource genre charts. Phil’s collaborations with Suki Soul also continue to dominate, including a Traxsource Funk No. 1 and ongoing critical acclaim.

His 2024 anthem “Side of Soul” opened Jamie Jones’ Hot Robot Radio episode 083 and received heavy support from Purple Disco Machine, Claptone, Dave Lee, and Young Pulse. Follow-up releases such as “Taste the Groove” and “Do It All Night” have secured top spots across digital charts, with consistent rotation on global dancefloors.

As a DJ, Phil has graced stages across Europe and beyond, headlining events such as Standon Calling’s Groove Garden, The Lofts, Stardust, Festival No.6, ADE, and Alfresco Festival. He maintains key residencies at Newcastle’s beloved Hoochie Coochie and The Refuge in Manchester, where he’s been a fixture for over five years.

In 2023 and 2024, Phil expanded his international reach with standout performances at Pacha’s Lío, Pikes Ibiza for Dan Prince’s Back to Mine, the iconic Horse Meat Disco in London, and at Le Farinet in Switzerland. Multiple returns to ADE solidified his reputation as a crowd favourite.
